This is a tattoo of a skull I did using a technique involving only dots. I really enjoy doing black and grey tattoos.
This piece is on my mom, which is awesome in itself. It symbolizes the circle of life as the awakened spirit travels out through the third eye after death. Dots can also remind us that even as we are whole, complete and perfect as we are, we are still just a piece of an ever larger whole. Thus, the spherical nature of reality becomes apparent.
